Agenda 2026

An Economy for Working Families

When I was nine years old, I began to know the weight of financial struggles. I interpreted for my father when he opened our first bank account in my name, so I could write the checks for rent and utilities. I learned early that my father’s paycheck wasn’t enough to cover everything.  That’s why I got my first job at 13 to help cover my personal expenses, and by the time I reached college and law school, I was juggling full-time work with full time classes, relying on scholarships and loans to make it all possible. My family has worked hard to slowly climb the economic ladder, but too many Georgians are stuck and struggling to simply get by.

I will fight tirelessly to raise Georgia's minimum wage from $5.15 to a living wage. It’s time for hard-working people to be able to afford the basic necessities, and that includes housing. I’ll support legislation to make housing affordable and in line with the rising cost of living. I’ll also work to improve workforce and career development, focusing on need-based scholarships for technical schools and colleges, so that every Georgian has the opportunity to succeed.

Together, we can create a future where every person—no matter their background—has the chance to thrive. A future where hard work and determination lead to success, and working families can finally get ahead.

Lower Taxes, Stronger Small Businesses

As the owner of my own legal practice, I have seen firsthand the challenges—the long hours, the personal sacrifices, the constant attention to every detail. To succeed, small business owners have to know the cost of everything from the utilities to a paper clip.  I understand these challenges, and I will fight to ease them.

I will push for tax incentives that allow small businesses to thrive and secure funding for entrepreneurs who need seed money to get their dreams off the ground. I will also ensure fair wages and working conditions for employees, and I’ll work to reduce the tax burden on small businesses so they can reinvest and grow.

Georgia’s economy should serve the people who power it—the small businesses, the families, and the workers. I will fight against a system that rigs the game in favor of the ultra-wealthy and the well-connected. If you’re working hard and playing by the rules, you deserve success—and I’ll fight to make sure you get it.

Invest in Teachers. Strengthen Public Schools.

Education changed my life. It opened doors, shattered barriers, and gave me the chance to build a future. Every child in Georgia deserves the same opportunity. That’s why I’m unwilling to accept a future where our schools continue to be underfunded, teachers are undervalued, and children are left behind because of their family’s income level.

I will fight relentlessly to fully fund our public schools, raise teacher pay, and expand early childhood education. I will also work to improve the Quality Basic Education formula that funds our schools, ensuring that every student, regardless of their zip code, has access to a world-class education.

Our kids’ futures are at stake, and I will not back down until every classroom is a place where students can thrive.

Healthcare is a Basic Right

I watched my father work full-time for decades without healthcare until he turned 65 and was finally able to obtain Medicare. Despite working tirelessly, he never had the option for employer-sponsored coverage, and we only sought medical care when things had reached a hospital emergency level. Too many families share in this struggle– this must change.

I will continue the fight to expand Medicaid, lower prescription drug prices, and improve mental health services for all Georgians. I’ll push for individual tax credits for essential medications for chronic illnesses like diabetes, high blood pressure, and cholesterol. I’ll also advocate for a tax holiday for medical supplies—because healthcare is not a luxury; it’s a human right.

We cannot allow Republicans to leave Georgians without access to the care they need. I’ll work every day to ensure quality healthcare is accessible to every Georgian, no exceptions.

Fighting against Hate and Racism

I’ve fought in courtrooms and at the Capitol to protect families, to keep children with their parents, and to ensure that every voice is heard. I will continue that fight with everything I have. I will push back against hate, stand up for Dreamers, and fight for policies that embrace Georgia’s diversity as our greatest strength.

Whether you are Georgia-born or have come in search of a better life, every family deserves a real shot at the American Dream. We are stronger when we stand together, and I will ensure that Georgia’s doors remain open to all who seek opportunities.

Green Spaces. Safe Neighborhoods. Better Quality of Life

When I talk to neighbors, the concerns they raise about quality of life are loud and clear: we want green spaces, sidewalks, streetlights, and safe neighborhoods. These are necessities for a thriving community.

As your State Representative, I will act as a bridge to our local governments to ensure that our communities have the resources they need. We will advocate for more infrastructure necessary to create vibrant, livable neighborhoods.

I am committed to ensuring that all Georgians, especially those in unincorporated areas like ours, have the quality of life they deserve. Together, we will make our communities better, safer, and more connected.
